Non-shooting, Training Days
Service Description
🐾 Exciting New Training Days at PVPDC! 🐾 Starting in 2023, PVPDC began holding non-shooting training days on Saturdays before our fun runs. These sessions are perfect for young dogs needing bird exposure without the added pressure of gunfire. 🌟 Why Attend Our Training Days? 🌟 Bird Exposure: Ideal for young dogs to encounter birds (typically planted pigeons) in a controlled environment. Gentle Introduction to Gunfire: For dogs that appear ready, club volunteers may use a blank pistol off in the distance. 🐶 Training Day Activities 🐶 PVPDC members set up various “stations” where your dog can safely interact with birds, ensuring a positive and stress-free learning experience. These training days are an excellent opportunity to prepare your dog for future fun runs and field trials. 📅 Event Details 📅 When: Saturdays before the monthly fun runs Location: [Insert Location Here] Join us for these valuable training sessions and help your young dog gain confidence and skills in a supportive environment. 📞 For more information and to register, contact: [Insert Contact Information Here] Let's work together to make training days an enriching experience for your dogs! 🐾 We look forward to seeing you there! 🐾 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All proceeds generated by club functions go to funding the expenses associated with our member activities and select charities within the Sport Dog Community. If you are new to pointing dogs, the more experienced members of PVPDC will be an invaluable source of information at these fun runs as you learn how to handle and train your dog. Ultimately, the PVPDC wants to foster a strong sense of community and friendships among our members.
